Web Design Mistakes

is not thinking about visitors NEEDS - Too many web designers are also worried about how they want their website to look and not what visitors will appreciate. You must provide information that the visitor is expected, otherwise you will lose them. It is therefore important to research your visitor needs and expectations.

BAD Navigation - Navigation should be consistent throughout, and is an important part of the visitor experience. The most important pages should be one click away at any time, but not an ideal site should be more than three clicks away from any other. After the navigation bar at the top or side of the web page that is the same on all sites is recommended.

The Big Picture - Large images may take a long time to load. Not only that, but the result of a whole web page loads slowly. It frustrates visitors as they want to appear pages as quickly as possible and get him. This applies to video and other large media files.

not easy to read text - It sounds simple, but it is something that many people misunderstand the text must be easy to read. It is good to have a lot of informal text, if your visitors are struggling to read it. You have the right to the contrast in color between text and background. If you want to have a background image, it is important to consider carefully. Detailed images behind the text may cause difficulties for the reader.

too much or too little text - either too little or too much text can work against you. If you too can be a complicated reading, especially if it goes into much more detail than is necessary. Visitors May just give up and go. More than a common mistake is not having enough text. The problem here is two times. First, do not give your visitors (potential customers) with sufficient information about your products or services, and secondly it is bad for SEO purposes.

is not thinking about the text content - too much to worry only about the design of web pages and making it look good. Depending on the nature of the site, the text can be equally important. It gives visitors the information requested, and this is often true meaning of the page. It is incredible how many web pages grammatically poor.

overusing FLASH - fancy flash graphics is really what people are visiting your site for. Flash may look good, but watching it as they reach your site is not going to make the visitors stay, the more likely it will subside. If visitors have to wait for the flash graphic finish they can leave the place, especially if the splash page. Splash pages are rarely useful to visitors, and often only a designer looking to show off. This is not what the web site.

or more under THINKING THINKING SEO - You do not want to design a website exclusively for SEO purposes. In doing so means they will not be built for the benefit of your visitors, but the benefits of search engines. The text should make sense that the visitor not only be written for SEO. It does not matter how high you appear in search engines, if your visitors do not stay in place and it never gets you any work. However, it does not matter how impressive or useful site, if people can not find it, so SEO should not be taken into account.

Too many ads - You May want ads to generate some extra income, but remember this is not the main purpose of the site. For business websites will be advised that there are no ads, but if you do not want them to make sure they are not adopted. If you feel the website has taken the ads, the visitors will look at your competitors instead. They will visit the place looking for your products, services or information, not to be taken elsewhere across the ad.

LACK CONSITANCY - Some web designers do not think about the consistency and design every page with an individual feel. Although the content of your site should be differentiated through, layout and design should be consistent all the way through.
